FLIGHT OF THE CONCHORDS
New Zealand's fourth most popular folk parody duo the Flight of the Conchords, alias Bret McKenzie & Jemaine Clement, known from their hit self-titled HBO TV series, Grammy award winning albums and sell out tours.
Having developed a small but dedicated following at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in the early 2000's (post Robotic invasion), the Conchords have gone on to ever great success, whilst retaining their laid-back, easy-going, Antipodean charm.
Following on from their initial UK success and a BBC radio series in 2004, a prime time appearance in the United States on saturday night television, fuelled with internet support, led to HBO launching them into their own self-titled sitcom. Along the way they've also picked up a Grammy for Best Comedy Album, been nominated for Emmy's and picked up a host of NZ awards.
